As a remedy, Mudlet offers an option to disable reading out incoming text with VoiceOver - go to preferences, Special Options, and disable &amp;#039;Announce incoming text in screen reader&amp;#039;, which is on by default.&lt;br /&gt;

You can then install a 3rd party package such as the [https://github.com/tspivey/mudlet-reader mudlet-reader] which will use TTS to announce incoming text without running into the queueing issues.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
