Determine what auto resolves to with:

 template <typename T> struct watzattype;
 void TriggerUnit::doCleanup()
 {
     for(auto & trigger : mCleanupList)
     {
         watzattype<decltype(trigger)>{};

Compiler will error and tell you the type, TTrigger*& in this example.
