Mudlet is a freshly-minted MUD client, designed to take mudding to a new level.
New to Mudlet? Why not start with the basics, or take a look at Mudlet Manual. Or perhaps you want to find the answer to a Frequently Asked Question. If you don't have it yet, download it - it's free, and works on Windows, Mac, and Linux-based OS's.
Are you having troubles with Mudlet? We can help. Start here.
Mudlet uses Lua! Learning it is really rewarding - take a look at excellent stuff like the Lua tutorial (has an intro+crash course), Learn Lua in 15 mins, Learning Lua the Hard Way (very rewarding), Learning Lua Fast (for an experienced programmer new to Lua), Programming in Lua (official, but might be hard to follow) and various Lua tutorials (simple and easy).

You will need to register and login before editing, as that helps combat spambots. Due to those, registration is currently only possible by OpenID - select the login with OpenID option to get started. Choose your provider (gmail did work but appear to be dropping support for OpenID 2.0 in favour of a different system - Canonical, an organisation behind Ubuntu provide Ubuntu One
a Single Sign On service that provides this and hosts Mudlet's bugtracker
), select a name and press Log In.
